Friday 21 May purchased vehicle from…

Friday 21 May purchased vehicle from Jim Glover on the River, Tulsa OK, These guys are pro used car salesmen. The day dragged on and I ask for my keys several times before the manager told them to return the keys, Yes I thought about leaving. Finally got the deal finalized after waiting all afternoon. The salesman said the vehicle wasn't scheduled for service until Wednesday. OK. Five days later I called Jim Glover on the River about 11:00 AM and the salesman informed me the vehicle would be readt in 2 or 3 hours. We arrived at the dealership around 1:30PM to learn the vehicle wasn't ready. Had to get a bulb for the tail lights he said. 5:30PM rolled around and I was informed it had just been sent to detailing!
I admit My patience frazzled thinking Jim Glover had 5 days to finish the detailing, forcing me to ask if I could take my vehicle and clean it myself. The manager said yes. He said he didn't have any control over detail crew because it was contracted out. He said he would call and have them stop where they were on the cleaning. He then informed us the cost of detailing is added to vehicle price. The vehicle had not been touched at all. The plastic bag was still in the cargo area. My wife inquired about her bringing the van in next week for detailing. The salesmen said that would be fine and to call him. She called Monday and he told her to wait until next week due to the rain. My son and I detailed the van and did a respectable job, perhaps not as professional as the pros at Jim Glover by the River. My wife called Jim Glover 3 or 4 more times trying to talk to the salesman but he didn't answer and never returned her calls. One person said he was out due to family business. Who knows? Today is June 17, and still no return call from Jim Glover. This guy seems to be a real pro used car salesman. Do like the van.

Carfax saved me!

Carfax saved me!
I almost bought a vehicle and ran a report on it to find that it had over 100,000 miles more than the odometer showed. Someone had replaced the instrument console containing the odometer.
Well worth the price!!!

Power Motor Group Review

Power Motor Group Review
If it is possible, I wouldn’t give Power Motor Group any stars due to the entire ordeal I faced with them last year In the heightened stage of COVID.
During the storm last August, a tree fell on my house and car causing my family severe hardship. My car was only on liability coverage and therefore I was unable to retrieve any monies from my Auto insurance. I then was faced with looking for another car. In doing so, I saw a car on listed by this dealership on Carfax for $18,500. I contacted the dealership to test drive the vehicle and to go through financing options. Prior to going to the dealership, I asked if the price was negotiable and the owner Bill Christos said it was and further encouraged me to come on down. When my husband and I got there, they took us for a test drive and began the financing process. We then requested to negotiate the overall price of the vehicle but was told by Jeff and Bill that the price was non- negotiable. We also put several thousand dollars down to offset the cost as well as to lower our payments. Jeff even stated that Bill is great at working out the numbers and will get us a good financing rate. After about 5 hours, Bill finally generated all the paperwork for me to sign. When I questioned a few of the itemized costs in the contract, he told me that the fees and cost were out of his control. Upon getting home, I finally had a chance to review the paperwork in depth and noticed that he charged $3000 more on the vehicle price bringing the total cost to $21,500. He then added taxes on top of that and $699 detailing fee. Not to mention other administrative fees including an inspection fee when he didn’t complete the required inspection within 30 days. The last inspection was completed in August, prior to my purchase date. He also had me sign an odometer reading statement, indicating the wrong mileage, which he never updated from the last inspection completed 2 months prior to sale. I was concerned about this practice, because he sold me additional warranty with 600 miles discrepancy. I contacted him the next morning via email and in person to explain all the problems we found in the paperwork and requested a refund in exchange for the car. He refused to refund us our money and said he doesn’t typically do this for any consumers. He also made it clear that he is protected by DMV regulations as NY isn’t a state that allows consumers to return a vehicle when they find problems with contract agreements. They just can’t change their minds. He also noted that although he said the price was negotiable, prior to us coming to see the car, he never said if it was negotiable up or down, however, in this case it happened to be negotiable up. I insisted that he refund me the extra monies he charged on top of the selling price but he refused. I expressed that he is deceptive and that he isn’t maintaining the integrity of his business. He even furnished me with a Carfax guaranteed buy back certificate, which was also confusing because I am not sure what Carfax would pay to buy back the car. It was listed on Carfax for $18,500 and he sold to me for $21,500. Since Bill Christos refused to make the necessary price adjustments or issue any refunds, I reported his business conduct to the NY State Attorney General, NYS DMV Investigative Unit. The FTC,, BBB, and Consumer Protection. Bill also took down the Carfax report quickly, but didn’t realized that I had taken a video of the Carfax listing of the vehicle which shows that he was fraudulently inflating the overall price. I also had numerous emails to Bill itemizing all of my concerns regarding his deception. I also had records that he sold the car to me on 10/6/20 for $18,500. I forwarded all the noted problems, email correspondences and Carfax video to all of the above noted entities for investigation. After several months, I finally received a call from NYS DMV who investigated and ensured that I received a refund check of $4,300 from his dealership. He also had to refund me some of the detailing prep fees in addition to other fees and taxes. BEWARE of this Dealership and know that you have rights!

MY VEHICLE CARFAX REPORT MISSING A LOT

I purchased the carfax report on my own car for $43. To my BIG surprise it did not include service of my vehicle by Liberty Hyundai of Mahwah, NJ, including the installation of a new engine under warranty 2 years ago.
Carfax customer service said that Liberty Hyundai is not participating in their reporting program, I should call them up and persuade them to join.
I requested refund twice, I was refused both times.

Bought a car from Carfax sight…

Bought a car from Carfax sight approximately 400 miles from my home. Dealer was on way to an event I was attending. Carfax reported no issues or accidents reported. When I got to the dealer, they presented me with a Carfax report that showed $8,000.00 worth of damage that had been repaired. Dealer was willing to forego the sale. Will never buy a car online again.

Carfax thinks they are above the law

Was accused of hit and run- had to go to court twice to prove my innocence - case was dismissed- Carfax says my car was in a accident so it is devalued- i supplied letters of disposition which show the tickets were dismissed- Carfax says I need a updated police report, Irvington NJ Police will not give me one. They are only giving me the letters of disposition which has the court letterhead- Carfax says no good- the tickets were dismissed, no one was pressing charges against me, just the police and they said I was innocent- but now I have to get a lawyer again to prove my innocence but now it is for a Carfax- incredible they have this power to make the innocent pay $. The customer support was bad as well.

i looked for a 370z and found a 2019…

i looked for a 370z and found a 2019 low mileage one on a car lot for sale around the corner with a clear carfax report i ran the serial number and found it at a auction yard for sale with the rear quarter panel the door and the passenger side suspension destroyed yet her it is fixed with a clean report I asked a friend of mine who works for an insurance company and she said if theres damage weather its a complete basket case or just a bumper and airbags when a dealer buys the car from a auction yard and fixes it then it gets a clean report from carfax and they just tell you it sold at auction if a private person buys the car then it gets a salvage title
after looking for several months at tons of cars the ones that said sold at auction by carfax have been destroyed so dont trust these guys EVER on anthing sold at auction or by any dealership its probably been jacked up at one point in time

Carfax has a false claim on my truck and when I asked them to remove it and contact my Insurance company to correct, they said they did but didn't change the report. I called my insurance company and they said that Carfax is wrong and they didn't contact the right person. what is going on?! this is costing me thousands of dollars and you cant even call to talk to anyone?! They are delivering false documents on my report and that is just unacceptable.
